42 injured in wasp attack in Pothgul Viharaya

At least 42 persons including 27 school children and two Buddhist monks were injured following a wasp attack in Pothgul Viharaya, Ratnapura last evening, police said.

Police investigations have revealed that one of the students had pelted a stone at the wasp nest triggering this incident.
