Sri Lanka’s domestic cricket season will resume on July 14 with four matches in the Premier Tier A Super Eight segment.
The first round of Premier Tier A was completed in March but the spread of the coronavirus meant that the tournament was postponed before the championship rounds began.
The Plate Championship, which are contested by the bottom three teams of the two Tier A groups, will get underway from July 17.
The matches will be played over three days instead of the normal four days and the matches of the two segments will come to an end in the first week of August.
