Mulliyavalai school functioning without a Principal

The teachers, parents and students of the  Mulliyavalai Vithyananda College in Mullaitivu held  demonstration recently to urge the Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam to appoint a suitable Principal to the school as it has been functioning without one for more than a year.  

A media release said they had written to the education minister drawing his attention to the matter.  
The school has 1,400 students and 85 teachers
