More than 1,000 persons in Colombo 12 sent to quarantine

•  The decision was taken after a cluster of  patients were reported from  Bandaranayake Mawatha 
•  A total of 1,010 people would be sent to quarantine

More than 1,000 people belonging to 242 families from Bandaranayake Mawatha in Colombo 12, have been sent to quarantine centres, the Army said.  

Accordingly, a total of 1,010 people would be sent to quarantine.  

Army said the decision was taken after  a cluster of patients were reported from  Bandaranayake Mawatha.    A total of 32 Covid-19 patients among those 62 were reported on Monday.
