Abans opens Sri Lanka’s 1st Exclusive Xiaomi Store

Abans opened Sri Lanka’s first-ever Exclusive Xiaomi Store, giving the customers access to Xiaomi’s full range of smart products in one place.

The new store, powered by Abans, offers Xiaomi smartphones, smart home appliances, personal care products, health devices and other lifestyle products.

The opening ceremony was attended by the senior representatives from Xiaomi and Abans. Representing Xiaomi were General Manager Nepal and Sri Lanka Simon Fang, Sri Lanka Country Head Kain Wang, Marketing Head Sandani Gajadeera, Sales Operation Manager Bohua Luo and Sales Operation Assistant Max Liu.

The Abans team included Chairperson Aban Pestonjee, Managing Director Rusi Pestonjee, Director Business Development Fanaz Pestonjee, Director Operations Buddhika Dharmawardhana, General Manager Elite Channel Prasenes Hottiereshchi, Chief Marketing Officer Dr. Chathura Jayawardana and General Manager Ruwan Gurasetara.

At the event, Abans also launched the new Xiaomi 17 smartphone in Sri Lanka. The company said the phone, known as “The Telephoto Master”, offers high-quality photography, strong performance and long battery life at a competitive price.

Abans said the new store is part of its effort to bring the latest smart technology to Sri Lankan consumers. The company also plans to introduce more Xiaomi smart home products in the future.
