UNP national list

The United National Party (UNP) today submitted its national list to the commissioner of elections.

UNP General Secretary said the list included Karu Jayasuriya, Party Chairman Malik Samarawickrama, D. M. Swaminathan, Venerable Athuraliye Ratana Thera, Dr. Jayampathy Wickramaratne, Thilak Marapana, Professor C. A. Marasinghe, M. K. D. S Gunawardene, M. H. M. Navavi, M. H. M. Salman, Dr. A. R. A Hafeez , Sirinal de Mel and Anoma Gamage.

    latest update on 23rd Aug. All Ceylon Muslim Congress candidate from Puttalam M.H.M. Navavi has been included in the National list, hmm so all parties are the same, people rejected they bring in thru back door.

    Rosy was defeated by people, if so how can she come in the national list, we dont do UPFA way by giving slots for losers like SB and etcc.. we are UNP

    National list should be for people like Rosie. We are disappointed. Why is UNP not giving talented lady the position she deserves. Please Mr. Prime Minister Look at the list and use your influence. We need Rosy in the parliament.
