Basil and his brother MR miserably failed because they were racist and segregationist. In SL. There is no people of "majority" community and "minority". There is only one people in SL.They enforced Hitlerism against Tamils causing war crimesand genocide.Such criminal politicians should face ICC. Courts in SL are lenient to Hitlers.

Really Justin, most of the crimes were committed by Tamils against the rest of the country. Remember thousands of innocent lives were lost due to their terrorist activities. people just going about their daily activities were blown apart by bombs, massacres of villagers sleeping in their beds at night, butchered mercilessly. Pilgrims worshipping quietly shot dead in cold blood. Unarmed police shot dead in hundreds. What did you expect the government to do. Sit and listen to Solheim preaching peace? You should feel lucky MR restored peace and spent so much on developing the former terrorist infested Tamil areas so they can get on with their lives. Stating facts is not racism. Tamils themselves know they voted against MR. Vote counts prove that.

Well said Justin! There is only Sri Lankans! Until our politicians start thinking like that the people will also be separated.Basil has been discharged from the hospital and even attended the parliament! What a farce this man did pretending to be sick! Just did not want to be in the Prison. There seem to be some medical doctors who have collaborated with him to diagnose him with heart problems just to server his desires! All of a sudden after the bail being allowed his illness disappeared!
