The CID today informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate that it would file a charge sheet against former UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake for allegedly presenting a fake agreement during the presidential election campaign using forged signatures of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and President Maithripala Sirisena.

The CID told that it would file the charge sheet under the Civil and Political Rights Act no. 2007. The Case was fixed for hearing on August 5. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
