Video: Basil Rajapaksa arrested

Former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, former Secretary of the Ministry Nihal Jayatilake and former Divineguma Fund Director General R.R.K. Ranawaka were arrested a short while ago.

He is to be produced in the Kaduwela Magistrate Courts shortly.

    Very good move. We all know what the Rajapakshas did. However, even criminals need to be treated humanly and given their chance in court. Let the legal process take over now and if they are proven guilty, lock them up for good. If not set them free.
