forced the registrar to make this statement ?
Nadumaran Saturday, 03 January 2015 12:28 PM
Everyone was wondering as to how one university survey showed 53% win for Maithree when 2 other universities (Peradeniya and Kelaniya) were getting the opposite result.
Akhma Saturday, 03 January 2015 12:29 PM
Fair enough. I wonder whether Kelaniya University registrar would also care to do the same.
Thusitha Saturday, 03 January 2015 12:30 PM
My3 has already started his "yahapalanaya" by misleading the innocent public. Shame on you sirisena.
kapila Saturday, 03 January 2015 12:56 PM
Ha Ha we know the reason
Mahim Bandaranayake Saturday, 03 January 2015 01:23 PM
Misleading general public is objectives of WESTERN BACKED YAHAPALANA NADAYA. TNXTHIER OWN SURVEY NOTES IT IS MAHINDA GOT 56.75 instead ONE UNIVERSITY AFFILIATE ACADEMIC UNION insisted to do otherwise. FABRICATION IS YAHAPALANAYA?
OMG Saturday, 03 January 2015 01:32 PM
A statement worth several million rupees.
hiran Gunawardena Saturday, 03 January 2015 01:38 PM
ha ha this is hilarious. Now people can see my3 propaganda bubble via DM Android App
Sri Lankan Saturday, 03 January 2015 01:50 PM
It certainly does not mislead. It need not lead either. MS will get more than 53%, because the people who have a backbone will vote for him.
Anton Saturday, 03 January 2015 01:57 PM
Quite true. Only two individuals attached to the CU were involved without the knowledge of the Registrar and they have taken samples of the "local tourists" transported by CTB buses to political rallies from other electorates. So, this is not correct. It has to be 56.2% to MS, 41.4% to MR and 2.4% to others.
CITIZEN Saturday, 03 January 2015 12:15 PM
Dear Mr. Registrar, were you asked to deny???
shek Saturday, 03 January 2015 02:06 PM
shame on you sir its okay to do surveys. dont be scared. via DM Android App

It is really disgusting that some bankrupt politicians try to destroy reputation of National Universities to achieve their personal agendas.
matta Saturday, 03 January 2015 04:27 PM
Ha ha .What a joke country
Saroja Saturday, 03 January 2015 04:31 PM
Registrar is trying to hide the gaps in their university administration procedures by making such comments. If there is a proper procedure stated for making public comments, these individuals will not go beyond it. WHY NOT Registrar formulate some procedures....
alahpperuma Saturday, 03 January 2015 04:37 PM
Hatred is a boomerang which is sure to hit you harder than the one at whom you throw it.
Nandagupta Sunday, 04 January 2015 10:28 AM
The individuals conducted the survey, or the newspaper claimed that the survey was done by the University of Colombo. This was not a survey commissioned by the University of Colombo. It is the duty of the registrar to announce the truth. As a matter of fact I believe those two individuals should apologize or resign from their positions if they claimed the survey was done by the University of Colombo. Students and the citizens of the country lose their respect for teachers, who has no integrity.
Nimal Saturday, 03 January 2015 10:42 AM
In a weeks time all those keeping their distance now will rush to take the credit.

dutchy Saturday, 03 January 2015 09:51 AM
Everybody knows the unrealistic outcome of this survey
Neomal Saturday, 03 January 2015 09:55 AM
It cant be 53%. 3 out of 5 are for a change.60% for Maithree.
Don Don Saturday, 03 January 2015 10:03 AM
At last, a good move, actually it is much higher than 53%, (possibly 60%) so it tends to mislead the general public
johan Saturday, 03 January 2015 10:13 AM
Even if you bluff this would be the result
Kasthuri Saturday, 03 January 2015 10:23 AM
This analysis is just for a political gimmick. Colombo University must not wary about it too much.
demel Saturday, 03 January 2015 10:22 AM

Hope Registrar of the Kelaniya University is OK with its survey.
Prometheus Saturday, 03 January 2015 11:11 AM

sathy Saturday, 03 January 2015 11:11 AM
They want to be safe until 8
Lanka Shantha Saturday, 03 January 2015 11:19 AM
Will the Kelaniya University too follow the suit?
Bala Saturday, 03 January 2015 11:30 AM
In case it works out right, do not claim credit. Scared of the Govt? Are you?
bb Saturday, 03 January 2015 11:43 AM
This survey is not correct. the correct value is 58%.
Nims Saturday, 03 January 2015 11:45 AM
Colombo University is correct. The correct figure is 83% to Sirisena
lakshmanu Saturday, 03 January 2015 11:47 AM
Anyway, the outcome on the 8th is more likely to go with this survey than that of Kelaniya University!
