United National Party (UNP) headquarters ‘Sirikotha’, which was damaged in the clashes during the election of the office bearers in December last year will be given a facelift soon, General Secretary Tissa Attanayake said.

He told journalists Srikotha had been redesigned by renowned architect Mihindu Keertirante. He said the front section of the headquarters would be redone giving it a new look.

He said the opening ceremony will be on September 6 which is the party’s anniversary. (Yohan Perera and Nishan Casseem)
