Not surprising. The demand for bribes is very evident thesedays with Foreigners having the money to do so to expediteDual-Citizenship applications. The Computer controlleddata-base is a guise. I know of one who paid Rs.50,000/-in two occasions to have his Foreign Passport stampedwith a "Dual-Citizenship" seal, within one week during hisholidays here!!!

This is a classic example. It has taken 20 years to convict a bribery case. You can just imagine why people in power continue to steal, they know it take ages to convict.

He had 20 years to enjoy the loot, so why worry. The sentence is suspended anyway so he will be out and about as if nothing happened.
