The floods along theaccess roads to the Southern Highway at Biyagama had compelled officials to divert vehicular traffic to other points.
Southern Expressway Deputy Director R A D Kahatapitiya said vehicles which intend existing from Biyagama should leave the expressway at the Athurugiriya exchange.
He said this decision was made after several access roads to the expressway were flooded.
Those who want to enter the expressway from the circular road at Biyagamahave been requested to enter from Colombo via Kelaniya.
