The heavy rains lashing Sri Lanka has temporarily grounded flights scheduled to take off from the Ratmalana Air Port to Jaffna, Ratmalana Air Port Manager Aruna Rajapakse said.
He said some 450 foreign and local students are undergoing training at the Ratmalana Air Port and the wet weather had compelled the authorities to postpone the training sessions. He saidall these services would resume when the weather improves. (Rekha Tharangani Fonseka)
