This is getting ridiculous. To pay for all the facilities provided to these appointees will become a burden on the poor taxpayer. What Yahapalanaya preached before the elections was a complete opposite of what they are doing now.

Can the parliament or somebody else even the readers publish a list of all the ministers, deputies, state and other, so that we know how many there are now ?

I am wondering now who shall I vote in the next election?Neither the SLFP nor the UNP is my choice any more though the UNP/SLFP coalition of MR/Ranil is definitely better than MR. Even though clean now the JVP is out for historical reasons. Is there any third new party devoid of old guard in the process of being born with young intelectual instead of thugs, drug dealers, murderers and the like in it? I am waiting!
Suranga Siriwardena Thursday, 07 April 2016 05:07 AM
All defeated candidates given portfolios. Why do you have to have elections to seek the mandate of the people? This no better than MR Govt and we are taken to a ride by everyone.
garawi Thursday, 07 April 2016 05:06 AM
Is all the MPs now on band wagon? Or are there anymore to be appointed. The criticism of MR's Jumbo cabinet has now become a joke! What a farce this Yahapalanaya is?
