Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa today went to the Mahara prison to visit Ven. Uduwe Dammaloka Thera, who was remanded on charges of illegally keeping a baby elephant in his possession.
The Thera was remanded till March17 by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Peiris yesterday.
