Quarantine curfew was imposed in Dematagoda and Maradana with immediate effect until further notice to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Army Commander Shavendra Silva said today.

He said Quarantine curfew was also imposed in Payagala, Beruwala and Aluthgama ares until 5 am on Monday 26.

1. At worst there will be 500 new positive cases per day, so arrangement should be made to recover / discharge 500 per day. 2. Later this will continue for long, there is nothing new in this. 3. Keep everything open, only cantonment zones should have restrictions. 4. First few medical workers, police personnel, few politicians
