The Court of Appeal today issued an order postponing Magisterial inquiry against former President Maithripala Sirisena in connection with the Easter Sunday attack incidents.

Court of Appeal two-judge-bench comprising Justices Sobhitha Rajakaruna and Dhammika Ganepola decided to postpone magisterial inquiry at Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court for a period of 10 weeks pursuant to a writ petition filed by former the President. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)

The entire Catholic community requests Maithripala Sirisena should be punished and kept behind bars as he is the main man behind Easter Sunday Attacks, getting big money and allowed the Terrorist to attack the churches.

No one is above the law - that is the global concept, However, we in Sri Lanka have to live with one country/two laws concept, although a notorious clergyman was appointed to head one country/one law task force. This was another crazy idea as nothing ever came out of it. This Easter Sunday attack was well planned and some in government as well as others outside are embroiled in this. For 3 years zero findings put out to the people although a final report from the Presidential Commission of Inquiry was handed over to the Parliament in February 2021.

Ow how sweet these Judges, they are going by the Historical Sri Lankan Judicial System of "justice delayed is justice denied". Nice to see judges postpone according to there whims and fancies for ten whole weeks, wonder how they calculated this, why not ten whole years, probably it is the time a yakko like Mahinda can take to wreck a whole country off the map.
