All four lanes of the Southern Expressway (E01) between Imaduwa and Pinnaduwa interchanges were seen blocked due to a minor landslide resulted by heavy rainfall last night. This caused heavy traffic congestion from Imaduwa to Pinnaduwa today morning.

18 cattle killed in collision in Kilinochchi

A total of 18 cattle were found dead this morning following a collision with a tipper on the A9 road at Paranthan, Kilinochchi.The 18 cattle belonged to diary farmers who had been maintaining them in a plot of land outside the cultured areas of the Iranamadu lake.
