Under 19 Cricket (Day One) Aaron, Jayden crack half tons

Half tons by Aaron Kodituwakku and Jayden Amaraweera were the highlights of the first day’s play in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter between S. Thomas’ and Trinity played at the BRC ground. The duo’s knocks saw the Thomians taking first lease of the wicket making 189 and Trinity in their turn ended the day on 54 for 1.

Half tons by Avishka Nirmal and Sri Lanka Youth U17 player Lahiru Lakmal helped Christ King College Ja-ela to make a formidable score of 295 against Bandaranayake MV Gampaha who ended day one on 66 for 1 in the match played at Ambepussa. The matches will be continued today.
