The 28th Central Province, Battle of the Golds encounter between Sri Rahula College, Katugastota and Sri Sumangala College, Wariyapola ended in a draw at the Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium.

Rahula made 172 and 145 for 4 declared and Sri Sumangala made 95 and 92 for 3.
