Serendib dominates Solid with four goals

New Star midfielder Mohamed Thilham, named best player makes a move against St. Mary’s SC

In the third week of the 2025-26 FFSL Champions League Super Eight round, Serendib Sports Club secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Solid Sports Club at the Race Course ground.

The first half ended goal-less as both teams battled intensely, but Serandib SC dominated the second half, scoring four goals through Mohamed Rahuman, Vijayakumar Abishan (2) and Badu Robinson. Vijayakumar Abishan was named best player of the match.

Meanwhile, the match between New Star SC and St. Mary’s SC ended in a 3-3 draw. After a tight first half, goals were scored in the second round.

New Star’s goals were scored by Vital Adudja (2), Mohamed Thilham and Anthony Dilaxan.

John Lawani and M. Marysan (2) were the goal scorers for St. Mary’s SC.

Mohamed Thilham of New Star SC was adjudged best player of the match.
