Schools Cricket Association elect office bearers

Susantha Mendis, the principal of Science College, Mount Lavinia, has been elected as the president of the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA) for the period 2026–28.

Saman Hettiarachchi of Isipathana College, Colombo, was elected as the Secretary while Sampath Weragoda, principal of DS Senanayake College, Colombo was elected as the senior vice president.

Kusuman Ranasinghe (principal of Bandaranayake College, Gampaha), Sugath Sri Lal (principal of Vidyartha College, Kandy), Damith Ratnaweera (principal of Abhayapura Maha Vidyalaya, Ampara), Damayanthi Satharasinghe (principal of Wickramashila National School, Giriulla) and Thushari Jayaratne (principal of Kegalu Balika Vidyalaya) were elected as vice presidents.

DM Rajarathna of Lumbini College, Colombo, was elected as the Treasurer while Kanishka Perera of St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa, will serve as the Tournament Secretary.

Nuwan Samaranayake of Kurunduwatte Royal College, Gampola, was appointed as the Technical Officer, P. Ganesh Kumar of Madawala Madina College as the Translator and J. A. K. S. Indrajith of Sri Dharmaloka College, Kelaniya, as the Assistant Secretary.
