Rintaro Tsukamoto from Japan was appointed as a Volunteer Coach of Sri Lanka Baseball in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Speaking to Daily Mirror, Tsukamoto said, "I am honored to be part of the Sri Lanka Baseball team and am eager to contribute to the development of the sport in this beautiful country. Baseball
has a rich history in both Japan and Sri Lanka, and I believe this collaboration will help nurture the talent and passion that already exists here."
Sri Lanka Baseball has been making steady progress in the Asian region Tsukamoto was welcomed at the new the Department of External Resources recently. (Shamseer Jaleel)
