Richmond down Mahinda in last ball

Richmond College prevailed with a last ball win over traditional rivals Mahinda College in their 38th limited overs encounter played at the Galle Stadium yesterday.

Mahinda taking first lease of the wicket made a modest score of 230 for 7 and Richmond helped by an unbeaten 68 from Ameesha Rasanjana supported by useful knocks from Risinu Rupasinghe and Punal Hansajith enabled them to reach the target in the last ball of the day.
