Rajith, Dimath, Sonal shine for Maliyadeva

Rajith Navodya slammed a 195 ball knock of 173 that included 19 boundaries and three sixes supported by Dimath Abeysinghe and Sonal Ashwin to help Maliyadeva to record a conformable first innings win over Wesley in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter concluded at Campbell Park. 

The trio’s knocks enabled Maliyadeva resuming from their overnight score of 136 for 5 to post a mammoth score of 430 for 9 declared in reply to Wesley’s 228 runs.

The other matches too ended in first inning wins for St Joseph’s, St Anne’s and De Mazenod.
