Police SC stun Air Force SC

Police Sports Club produced a commanding performance to overwhelm Air Force Sports Club by 36 points (6 tries, 3 conversions) to 12 points (2 tries, 1 conversion) at the Air Force Ground in Ratmalana yesterday.

At the short breather Police led 19/12.

The visitors ran in six tries and added three conversions showing no mercy for the Plate segment table leaders who were expected to pull it off with an easy win. Police SC’s tries were scored by Yohan Peiris (2), Danushka Edirisuriya, Deshan Fernando, Vihanga Pavithura and  Kaliova Mocetadra with Yohan Peiris converting three of them. 

For the home team their tries were scored by Pramod Pathmasanka and Manodya Bandara with Kaveesha Kaluarachchi added a conversion.
