A half ton by Manitha Rajapakse and a four wicket haul by Jamish Irantha helped Mahinda College to record a 22 runs win over Vidyaloka MV Galle in their Under 17 limited overs tournament encounter played at Ratgama. Rajapakse’s knock enabled Mahinda taking first lease of the wicket to make 215 and Janish’s four wickets helped them restrict St Aloysius to a score of 193.
St Thomas’ Matara defeated arch rivals St Servatius Matara by two wickets and St Aloysius Ratnapaura overcame Debarawewa NS by nine wickets in their matches played at Matara and Debarawewa.
