Mahinda dominate against S. Thomas’

Mahinda College dominated proceedings against S. Thomas’ College at the end of the first day’s play in their Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Galle.

Mahinda after bowling out S. Thomas’ for a score of 200 ended the day in a strong position of 149/3.

A top knock of 143 Thisanga Semith and half tons from Mihisara Oshan, Dunidu Navaratne and Dinosh Jelo helped Lyceum IS Wattala to amass a score of 405/7 declared against Zahira College who ended day on 54/1 in the match played at Maradana.

The matches will be continued today.
