June National Ranking Tournament 2025 Thangaraja all the way

Nadaraja Thangaraja emerged as the clear winner with an outstanding total score of 265 at the June National Ranking Tournament 2025 which ended after four days of top class golf at the Royal Colombo Golf Club yesterday.

Thangaraja delivered consistent brilliance across all four days of play. His scores of 68, 65, 66, and 66 were a masterclass in focus and form and he was clear of 12 strokes ahead of second placed Kumar Danushan. 

Kumar finished with a total of 277, showing some top class golf giving Pro Thangaraja a good run. Danushan led on the initial day but Pro golfer Thangaraja came back strongly to hold the lead from day two till the end showing his experience and exposure on the greens in Sri Lanka as well as overseas.

Meanwhile Reshan Algama took third place with a solid 281. After steady rounds of 73, 72, 66 and 70, he finished with an excellent 66. That final-day charge pushed him ahead of close rivals. He displayed great improvement and composure throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile fourth place was tied between Lalith Kumara and Uchitha Ranasinghe with a total of 287. Adhithya Weerasinghe finished sixth while Jevahn Sathasivam ended on seventh position.
