HNB win Mercantile hockey Sevens

The champion HNB team

Hatton National Bank (HNB) emerged victorious in the A Division final of the Mercantile hockey Sevens at the P. Sara Stadium, Colombo.

HNB defeated Mercantile Bank 3-1 in a thrilling final. Menula Hewawasam scored two goals, while Madhusankha Bandara added another, securing the championship for HNB. The lone goal for Mercantile Bank was scored by Milan Ariyawansha.

Individual Awards: 

Best Player: Menula Hewawasam (HNB)

Best Goalkeeper: Kavish Fernando (HNB)
