Dodangoda guides Ananda Sastralaya to victory

An unbeaten quick-fire 69-ball knock of 77 with 11 boundaries and a six by Chenuka Dodangoda helped Ananda Sastralaya Kotte coast to a comfortable five wicket win over traditional rivals St John’s College Nugegoda in their 26th Battle of Sri Jayawardenapura at P Sara Stadium yesterday.

Ananda Sastralaya were left with a target of 139 runs which they achieved with ease.

Earlier in the day the Johnians resuming their second innings from their overnight score of 18 for 1 made 170.
