Battle of the Greens Bhanuka steers St. John’s

An unbeaten knock of 132 inclusive of 19 boundaries and a six by Bhanuka Adhithya, who shared two valuable partnerships of an opening wicket stand of 85 runs with Sadew Pabasara and an unbroken stand of 131 runs for the third wicket with Tharul Laksanda, helped St. John’s College, Panadura, end day one with a score of 234 for 2 against traditional rivals Royal College, Panadura, in the Battle of the Green big match played at De Zoysa Stadium in Moratuwa. The match will continue today.
