Batting practise for Trinity

Trinity College scored an easy first innings win their Under 19 inter school cricket encounter against Prince of Wales College which concluded at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy yesterday.

In reply to Trinity’s total of a mammoth 476 for 1 declared, the visitors were shot out for a low score of 197.

Trinity in their second essay ended at 265 for 7 on the final day with Chaniru Senaratne scoring a century (123).
