Sri Lanka’s junior tennis players Buvindu Jayawardena and Revan Amarasinghe kept the country flag when the pair recorded three successive wins in the Asia Oceania Under 14 World Junior Qualifying tennis tournament which is now in progress in Vietnam.
The pair began their campaign with a 3-0 win against Myanmar and then followed it up with a 2-0 win against Malaysia in the first round matches before coasting to another comfortable 2-0 win in the quarter final encounter against Macau to enter the semifinal and will now meet Uzbekistan today.
The tournament organized by the ITF is being contested by 20 countries.

Revan Amarasinghe (Sri Lanka) beat Wong Jacob (Malaysia) 2-1 (2/6, 6/4. 7/6). Buvindu Jayawardena (Sri Lanka) beat Mak zoo (Malaysia) 2-0 (6/2, 6/3).
Quarter Final:
