ASPI crosses 6, 500 point mark

The main index of the Colombo Stock Exchange, the All Share Price Index (ASPI) today crossed the 6,500 point mark, at the close of trading, for the first time since October 2011.

By the end of trading at 2.30 pm today, the ASPI was at 6,565.81 points. Whereas on October 14th, 2011 the ASPI was at 6549.91 points at market close
