Sri Lankans Yuhansa Peiris in the girls’ category and Ganuka Fernando in the boys’ segment continued their winning streak as they cruised through to the semifinals of the ITF Junior Circuit J30 Week 4 tennis tournament by chalking up easy wins in the two quarter finals played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.

The duo recorded comfortable wins with ease by two sets to nil with Yuhansa overcoming Daria Lokotkova of Ukraine and Ganuka getting the better of Thirumurugan Viswanathan of India.

The semifinals are scheduled to be played today

Quarter Finals:
Girls – Yuhansa Peiris (Sri Lanka) beat Daria Lokotkova (Ukraine) 2-0 (7/6, 6/2)
Boys – Ganuka Fernando (Sri Lanka) beat Thirumurugan Viswanathan (India) 2-0 (7/6, 6/0)
