Yeti SSC Open Tennis Championships: Yuhansa, Annaya, Mayooran, Rehan enter finals

The completion of the Yeti SSC Open Tennis Championships singles semi-finals of the U-18 girls’ and boys’ categories, which was played at the SSC tennis courts in Colombo yesterday, saw Yuhansa Peiris and Annaya Norbert in the girls, along with Mayooran Kubherane and Rehan Gunawardena in the boys, come out victorious to book the berths to the final.
Yuhansa overcame Gehansa Methnadi, while Annaya got the better of Sandithi Usgodaarachchi by the identical winning margin of two sets to nil.
Mayooran defeated Ashlin de Silva, and Rehan beat Lithum Jayabandu also by the same winning margin of two sets to nil. The championship will continue today.

Girls’ U-18 – Yuhansa Peiris beat Gehansa Methnadi 2-0 (6/4, 6/2), Annaya Norbert beat Sandithi Usgodaarachchi 2-0 (6/4, 6/2)
