The event, contested by teams from six countries, was organised by the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) – the cricketing arm of the Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled – that organisers said marked a pivotal moment for women’s sports and disability inclusion.

As part of its continued commitment to empowering women and fostering inclusive communities, VFS Global said it was honoured to be associated with the tournament that enabled women to thrive, lead and inspire.

Chief organisers of the tournament CABI said the tournament showcased to the world women who are not deterred physically or mentally.

We look forward to building this into a long-term, global partnership, one that drives meaningful opportunities, deeper visibility and a truly inclusive sporting future for women with visual impairments,” said GK Mahantesh the Chairman of CABI and Founder Managing Trustee, Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled.
