Virtual media conferences with LPL captains and coaches

On the eve of the Lanka Premier League (LPL), Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) conducted a media conference with the team captains, and will now do the same with five overseas players, it is learnt. All five teams have been asked to nominate one overseas player for media interaction.  

Shoaib Malik is likely to be the Jaffna Stallions’ choice, subject to Pakistani all-rounder’s consent.   

SLC will also have a interaction with the five head coaches of the teams on December 6, which also happens to be a rest day in the tournament.   

Herschelle Gibbs (Colombo Kings), Moin Khan (Galle Gladiators), Hashan Tillakaratne (Kandy Tuskers), Owais Shah (Dambulla Viikin) and Thilina Kandambi (Jaffna Stallions) will be requested to make themselves available.
