U-19 Cricket Tourney St. Thomas’ in strong position

St. Thomas’ College, Matara were in a strong position at the end of the first day’s play in their Under-19 Inter-Schools Cricket Tournament encounter against St. Mary’s College, Kegalle which began at the Uyanwatte Stadium in Matara yesterday. 

St. Thomas’: 143 (Harindu Jayasekera 30, Woshitha Amarasinghe 27, Nipun Samarasinghe 25, Sineth Ishan 4/36, Praveen Liyanage 2/21) and 67/3 (Sineth Ishan 2/32)
St. Mary’s: 46 (Sachira Rashmika 4/7, Sineth Dissanayake 3/12, Hirusha Jeewajith 2/11).
