Arsenal took a huge step towards the Premier League title as Leandro Trossard scored the only goal in a dramatic 1-0 victory over relegation-threatened West Ham United.
West Ham produced a resolute defensive performance for 83 minutes and even missed a glaring opportunity to go ahead through Mateus Fernandes, who failed to beat David Raya from point-blank range.
Shortly after that reprieve, Trossard capitalised on some excellent approach play from substitute Martin Odegaard to fire through a crowd of bodies and past Mads Hermansen.
There was more drama five minutes into stoppage time, when Callum Wilson fired home, but his equaliser was disallowed after a VAR review, with Pablo adjudged to have fouled Raya.
Arsenal are now two wins from the title, while West Ham could find themselves four points adrift of 17th-placed Tottenham Hotspur, should they beat Leeds United Today.
