Trial meet for national weightlifting pool on March 11 and 12

A trial meet to assess the performance of the national weightlifting pool will be held on March 11 and 12 at the National Training Centre in Polonnaruwa, according to the Sri Lanka Weightlifting Federation (SLWF).
There are 50 members in the national pool. The SLWF hopes to select athletes for upcoming international weightlifting tournaments from this trial.

A trial meet for the Elite weightlifting pool was held recently with the participation of 13 athletes. Sixteen Sri Lanka records were set during the meet.
