Thomians name coaching staff

S. Thomas’ College announced their rugby coaching staff for 2026 entrusting the main role to Tristan Healy of New Zealand who will be the head coach.

Healy is both the head coach of the Bay of Plenty under-18 side and the New Zealand Maori under-18 entity. 

Isipathana College, CR and FC and Sri Lanka player, Lasintha de Costa will be the assistant coach of the Backs while Omalka Gunaratne will be the Forwards coach. 

Former CR, Kandy SC and Sri Lanka player Vishwamithra Jayasinghe will be theTrainer with another school mate , Kandy SC and national Sevens player, Srinath Sooriyabandara as the assistant Backs coach.

Hisham Hameed will be their Performance Analyst.
