Sri Lanka lose to Indonesia in Asian Games Men’s hockey qualifiers

Sri Lanka lost to Indonesia 3-1 in their third match of the Asian Games Men’s Hockey qualifying tournament jeopardising their chances of advancing from the group stages.

Drawn in group B of this nine-nation tournament, Sri Lanka beat Singapore 5-2 and lost to Bangladesh and Indonesia.
Oman and Thailand from group A and Indonesia and Bangladesh  from group B have qualified for the semifinals.
Sri Lanka is scheduled to play Hong Kong on May 14 in the classification place from 5th to 8th.
