Half tons by Adrito Gosh and Jarif Siyam paved the way for Bangladesh U-17 to record a comfortable five wicket win over Sri Lanka U-17 in the third and deciding ODI encounter played at the BSCG ground in Bangladesh yesterday which helped them to clinch the series 2-1.
Sri Lanka U17 taking first lease of the wicket made a modest score of 175 with Sanul Weeraratne making a top score of 66. Bangladesh in their run chase though losing an early wicket saw Jarif who cracked a run a ball knock of 51 that included three boundaries and two sixes and Kawsar Ahmed putting on a valuable 68 runs stand for the second wicket which laid the foundation for Bangladesh to race to the target in the 39th over.
