Sheshandri books place in final

Four Sri Lankan girls including Sheshandri Fernando, who ended up as the second best of the ATF U14 Week 1 tournament, Methuli Naotunne, Samaira Fernando and Kiara Jayamanne came out on top in the second round matches of the ATF Under 14 Week 2 tennis tournament at the SLYA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.

Sheshandri defeated Amaira Jain of India while Methuli, Samaira and Kiara recorded wins against three Sri Lankan players by the identical winning margins of two sets to nil.

The tournament will be continued today.
