Semis washed out, Colombo South meet Kandy in final

The two semifinals of the Under-15 Sri Lanka Youth League limited overs tournament between Galle and Kandy at Thurstan ground and Colombo South against Colombo North were washed out due to rainy weather.
In a rain shortened match between Galle and Kandy curtailed to 22 overs saw the former taking first lease of the wicket making 133 for 8 and Kandy in their turn was able to face only 5.4 overs before play was called off.
Only 16 overs of play was possible in the semifinal between Colombo South and Colombo North.
Colombo South and Kandy qualified to clash in the final as they ended as the top two teams after the completion of the round robin matches. 
The final is scheduled to be played tomorrow at Thurstan ground.
