Semi-finalists found in ITF Tennis Tourney

The ITF Junior Circuit J30 Week 2 Tennis Tournament semi-finals were concluded at the SLTA Courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.

Sakino Miyawaza of Japan the winner of the Week 1 Girls’ Tournament, Arzan Khorakiwala of India in the Girls’ category, Mikaeel Ali of Pakistan and Devesh Saravanan of Malaysia in the Boys’ category came out victorious in their respective matches. 

Results:
Girls’ Singles semi-finals: Sakino Miyazawa (Japan) beat Shival Gurung (Nepal) 6-2, 6-2. Arzan Khorakiwala (India) beat Jihan Li (China) 1-6, 6-2, 6-0. Boys’ Singles semi-finals: Mikaeel Ali (Pakistan) beat Luke Koh (Singapore) 7-6(3), 7-5. Devesh Saravanan (Malaysia) beat Juan Huang (China) 6-4, 1-6, 7-5.
