Sahansa Damsiluni and Mayooran Kubheran ended as Under 16 Singles champions of the Yeti SSC Open Tennis Championship when they came out on top in the finals played at the SSC tennis courts in Colombo yesterday

The champions coasted to easy two sets to nil victories with Sahansa overcoming Navya Banagala and Mayooran getting the better of Ashlin de Silva in the final between the two Peterites. The championship will be continued today.

Singles Final:
Girls Under 16 – Sahansa Damsiluni beat Navya Banagala 2-0 (7/5, 6/2)
Boys Under 18 – Mayooran Kubheran beat Ashlin de Silva 1-0 (6/2, 6/3)
